Because Bicon lives outside the Play Store, you'll install it directly from us. It sounds technical, but it's three steps and Android walks you through most of it. Follow along below.
Open the download link on your Android phone — either the demo button above, or the link in your purchase email. Your browser will save bicon.apk to your Downloads folder. Some browsers ask "keep this file?" — choose Keep. The file is signed by us and safe to install.
If you're on a computer, transfer the file to your phone first — by email, Google Drive, USB cable, whatever you use.
Open the APK from your Downloads. The first time you try to install something outside the Play Store, Android will ask permission for the browser (or file manager) you opened it from. Tap Settings, toggle on "Allow from this source", then come back.
This is a one-time switch — Android remembers it for next time. You can turn it back off afterwards if you prefer.
Android shows a confirmation: "Install this application?" Tap Install. A few seconds later, Bicon's navy icon appears on your home screen. Open it and run the quick 60-second setup wizard — name your business, add your logo, set your color. Then start tracking your first order.
That's it. No accounts to create, no codes to enter — once it's installed, Bicon is yours.
Usually means an older version of Bicon is already on the device with a different signature. Long-press the existing Bicon icon → App info → Uninstall, then try installing again. If it's your first install ever, restart your phone and re-download the APK — the file may have been incomplete.
Standard Android warning for any app installed outside Google Play — it doesn't mean the file is unsafe. Tap Details, then Install anyway. Bicon is signed and built by us. If you'd like to verify the file, email us and we'll send you the SHA-256 checksum.
On older Android versions (7 and below) it's a single global setting: Settings → Security → Unknown sources. Toggle it on, install Bicon, then toggle it back off. On Android 8+ the permission is per-app — Android takes you to the right screen automatically when you try to install.
Play Protect is scanning the file — it can take 30-60 seconds on a slow connection. If it's stuck longer than two minutes, cancel, turn off Play Protect briefly (Play Store app → Profile → Play Protect → Settings → Scan apps with Play Protect), reinstall, then turn it back on.
Email us at hello@bicon.app with your phone model, Android version, and a screenshot of the error if you can. We usually reply within a few hours, and there's a real person on the other end.
Try the demo for free. When it earns its keep, pick the tier that fits — from ₦5,000.
