Your business data lives on your device, not ours. Here's what we actually collect, what we don't, and what you can do about it.
The short version: When you buy Bicon, we collect your email and name from the checkout. We use them to send your download link and future updates. That's it. We collect nothing from inside the app.
When you buy a Bicon lifetime license, our checkout provider collects:
We pass your email and name to our email system so we can send your download link and future update notifications. We never see or store your card number.
We deliberately don't collect:
Bicon is offline-first by design. The app doesn't phone home. There's no server on our end waiting to hear from your phone.
On your phone. Bicon stores everything in local Android storage — the same place every other Android app keeps its data. We have no server collecting it, no cloud syncing it, no invisible backups happening in the background.
When you choose to back up — using Bicon's built-in backup feature — the backup file goes wherever you tell it to: your phone's storage, Google Drive, a WhatsApp message to yourself, or any destination you pick. We never see those backups and have no access to them.
A short, complete list of services that touch your information:
None of these third parties receive data about what happens inside the Bicon app, because nothing leaves the app.
At any time, you can:
If you're in the EU or UK, you also have specific rights under GDPR — including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us first and we'll usually sort it out faster.
This website uses no tracking cookies. We don't run analytics that identify individuals. If we ever add analytics, we'll choose a privacy-friendly tool (such as Plausible) that doesn't track individual visitors, and we'll update this page to mention it.
Bicon is built for business owners and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
If we update this policy in a way that meaningfully affects how we handle your information, we'll email everyone on the customer list and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Minor wording fixes won't trigger an email.
Privacy questions, deletion requests, anything else: hello@bicon.app. A real person will reply.
